Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee's death anniversary observed with all state honours in Bihar

On Friday, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be observed with full state honors.

The solemn occasion took place at Patliputra Park in Patna, where Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid their tributes by garlanding a life-size statue of the former PM.

The ceremony was attended by several prominent leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Bihar Assembly Speaker Nandkishore Yadav, Water Resources Minister and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, and BJP State President and Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dr. Dilip Kumar Jaiswal. The gathering reflected the widespread respect and admiration for Vajpayee's legacy in Bihar and across the nation.

In his address, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar highlighted the enduring impact of Atal Bihari Vajpayee's leadership and his contributions to the nation's development. The event served as a moment of reflection on Vajpayee's values and vision, which continue to inspire political leaders and citizens alike.
